7th MALATYA INTERNATIONAL

 FILM FEST’S BEST FILM “MORE”

 

Directed by Onur Saylak, MORE (DAHA) has won 4 prizes in 7th Malatya International Film Festival.  Produced by Ay Yapım, co-produced by b.i.t arts, MORE earned Best Film, Best Actor, Young Talent and Special International Jury Awards in 7th Malatya International Film Festival.

 

 

Inspired by Turkish writer Hakan Günday’s book MORE, the movie is continously getting success from every festival that it participated. MORE’s latest success has came from Malatya International Film Festival where MORE won four awards :  Best Film, Best Actor (Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan), Rising Talent (Hayat Van Eck) and also International Special Jury Award for Hayat Van Eck’s stunning performance in the  character of Gaza. 

 

In his award speech director Onur Saylak mentioned about Malatya’s audience’s interest to film and thanked to the jury. He also said  “ We are taking this award in the name of all the films participating this year. I am thankful to Hakan Günday as he wrote such a beautiful novel and as he shared it with me. I also want to thank to my whole team, my producers Kerem Çatay, Cemre Kutluay and Yamaç Okur. What could I say MORE!”
