The Luma Short Film Festival, organized in collaboration with Yeditepe University Cinema Club and Ay Yapım since 2022, aims to discover new screenwriters and directors, bring quality short films to the audience, encourage the production of high-art-value short films in Turkey, and support the development in this field.

Within the festival, there is a short film competition open exclusively to students, in addition to short film screenplay and feature-length screenplay competitions. The festival also includes short film screenings, workshops, and discussions.

There are no restrictions on the theme and genre in our festival. The most important criterion is the artistic value carried by the screenplays or short films. We invite all students who are creators, aspiring creators, and cinema enthusiasts to participate in our festival.
