“For Us” is a story of love, hope and life itself which is based on a true story of Horse Race Champion Bold Pilot, the jockey Halis Karataş, Bold’ Pilot’s owner Özdemir Atman ve Bold Pilot’s favorite human being Begüm Atman. 
Adventures of Halis Karataş who travelled to İstanbul from a small village of Sivas with high hopes o being a jockey begins when he meets Bold Pilot. But the point he reaches at the end of this journey is above all his expectations: they have both become legends. Their succesful story begin to help Begüm to battle the cancer she had and cling her to life. Something unexpected happens. They became the hope of the whole society.
The mid 90’s. Turkey’s political instability, inflation and hopelesness on people were increased. In those years when all hope was lost, people deeply bond with Bold Pilot and Halis Karataş who win every race coming from the last place. People see themselves at the point where this horse and jockey are: at the back. This duo make people to believe that everybody can win. The race ends at the finish line and the first to cross this line are Bold Pilot and Halis riding it.
